Yakult Australia is pleased to offer free guided tours of our modern manufacturing facility, located at 10 Monterey Road, Dandenong South (VIC). Visitors can safely view the entire production process through large viewing windows.

What can I expect when attending a factory tour?
On a Yakult factory tour, you will be guided through our modern manufacturing and quality control facilities, where you will learn about the benefits of the unique Lacticaseibacillus paracasei Shirota strain (LcS) and digestive health. You will also be provided with a sample of Yakult.

Who is welcome?
Everybody* is welcome on a Yakult factory tour! Tours are open to all members of the public.

*Please note: We are unable to provide pram/stroller access at our facility, and the use of stairs while carrying an infant is not recommended. Therefore, we advise that the minimum age for attending a Yakult Australia Factory Tour is 2 years old and above. Children should be able to use the stairs unassisted. Visitor safety is of the utmost importance to Yakult Australia, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Do you offer programs for schools, kindergartens, and other groups?
Absolutely! We are pleased to offer personalised educational programs for a variety of age groups. Topics covered include food manufacturing and processing, scientific exploration of bacteria and quality control, health topics related to digestion, probiotics, and healthy eating, as well as environmental studies, including energy management and recycling.
