At Yakult Australia, we celebrated Lunar New Year with a burst of joy, creativity, and a lot of festive spirit! As part of our Mandarin tour offerings, we hosted a special Lunar New Year celebration tour, bringing together culture, tradition, and excitement. Visitors had the chance to immerse themselves in Lunar New Year traditions, from learning about the significance of the holiday to enjoying festive decorations and activities inspired by Mandarin customs.
Festive Decorations
During the celebration, Yakult Australia factory was beautifully transformed into a vibrant space filled with festive decorations like entering a world where tradition met creativity. The spirit of the year of The Snake was alive in every corner. Visitors were absolutely delighted, with many commenting on how the decorations brought the true spirit of the celebration to life.
The Alfalfa Man Craft
One of the highlights of our activities was the Alfalfa Man Craft. Participants had the chance to grow their own mini alfalfa plant in Yakult bottles. Sprouting and growth of plants are seen as a symbol of prosperity, indicating family’s wealth and success in the year ahead.
The Interactive Wall Game
No celebration is complete without a bit of friendly competition! We brought the excitement to the next level with our both entertaining and educational Interactive Wall Game, designed to take you on a journey through the world of probiotics and intestinal bacteria, and is perfect for all ages.
Red Packets for Good Fortune
Exclusive Yakult red packets were prepared for all participants. Red packets are a traditional symbol of good luck and fortune during Lunar New Year. It reminded everyone the importance of giving and sharing with those around us.
